nebu: A Creative Bar Growing into a Creative Platform
nebu began as Zurich’s first creative bar: a place where guests could enjoy a drink while painting ceramics. But in just a few years, it has evolved far beyond that original idea.
Today, nebu is a creative brand built around the belief that people need spaces to slow down, make things and connect — with others and with themselves. At the bar, guests paint ceramics while enjoying snacks, natural wines or coffee. During the day, the atmosphere is calm, shaped by solo painters and small groups. In the evening, the mood shifts as nebu hosts team events, private bookings, creative workshops and intimate celebrations.
Behind the scenes, a full operational studio, an office and a growing team of more than 30 people work on new formats and ideas. nebu regularly collaborates with artists and brands on special projects, creative campaigns and limited product collections. The brand continues to evolve, extending its creative energy into pop-ups, supper clubs, content series and cultural experiences.
Every month, thousands of ceramic pieces are painted, glazed, fired and shipped to guests. This process is supported by a digital system that keeps the experience smooth, personal and scalable — a system designed to grow alongside the brand.

As nebu evolved from Zurich’s first Creative Bar into a growing Creative Brand, operational complexity increased significantly. Thousands of ceramic pieces had to be tracked, processed and shipped each month, pushing manual workflows beyond what a hospitality team could sustainably manage.
Success
Together with Ergon, nebu implemented a lean, web-based logistics system that digitally covers the entire ceramic lifecycle. The solution automates registration, matching and shipping, and scales seamlessly with the brand, allowing the team to focus on delivering creative experiences.
