Training and Development

Ergon has a long track record of commitment to training and development. As well as being keen to recruit well-trained specialists on graduation, we also want to play an active part in the training of young specialists.

So for the past ten years we have been training apprentices, running regular application development taster days and programming courses for school students and offering internships to university students. As a centre of commerce and industry, Switzerland is reliant on well-trained IT specialists. Yet there is still a shortage of suitable candidates in our country. In order to meet the long-term need for IT specialists, it is important to have a sustainable training and development programme. And if this programme is to bear fruit, it must be organised and managed systematically as a long-term undertaking. That is the motivation behind our continued commitment to training and development.
