Scratch: Learning to program through play

Scratch im Schulhaus Döltschi
neu renoviertes Informatikzimmer

General information

Scratch is a free-of-charge graphical programming environment for children and young people. Users can easily integrate and animate their own images and sounds. Programming a simple game is quick and easy. Scratch offers an introduction to programming through play!

For secondary schools

We have put together a three-hour workshop which we offer to schools. We can run the workshop for individual classes or groups of interested students in the school's IT room. Following an introduction to Scratch, students have the opportunity to try their hand at programming and create their own basic programs. We have prepared a number of appropriate exercises, and we also use exercises from SwissEduc. As an addition to the practical session, we can also give a presentation on IT and training and career opportunities if required. The content can be adapted to the needs of the individual school and the available facilities. This workshop is run by one of Ergon's software engineers and apprentice trainer. She or he is accompanied by one of our apprentices.
