Wasserwerke Zug AG: Triple Play fully under control with Taifun

Wasserwerke Zug AG (WWZ) has implemented Ergon's Taifun solution so that it can offer telephony, Internet and digital television services from one single source to more than 70,000 customers. This tailored solution has made it possible to simplify the existing system landscape at WWZ and what is more, consolidation on the Taifun system has also cut operating costs.
Mobile solution from Ergon for BMW service vehicles
Zurich, November 20, 2007. Ergon implemented the mobile solution for dispatching intervention vehicles for BMW (Switzerland) Ltd and ELVIA. As of September, all BMW service vehicles in Switzerland are equipped with a PDA to make the breakdown service's work far easier. GPS positioning enables the dispatcher to call up the nearest vehicle simply and quickly. The result: optimal deployment of breakdown vehicles, and improved service quality for customers thanks to shorter waiting times.

Zurich, September 18, 2007. Ergon Informatik AG has successfully terminated the project for the complete Service Fulfilment and Billing for Litecom. With the two Ergon solutions Taifun und TelcoBill Litecom controls the complete Litephone operations and processes. Litephone is the telephony solution for broadband operators.

Herzliche Gratulation zum bestandenen Lehrabschluss
Zürich, im August 2007. Unsere Lehrlinge Silvan Angele und David Pacassi haben beide ihre vierjährige Ausbildungszeit zum Applikationsentwickler erfolgreich abgeschlossen. Sie bleiben noch eine Weile bei uns: David wird weiter im Projekt für Mespas tätig sein, Silvan hilft in der Telco-Abteilung aus. Im August beginnt mit Marco Farner ein neuer Lehrling die Ausbildung zum Applikationsentwickler. Unsere beiden anderen Lehrlinge Tamara Brazerol und Benjamin Steger starten bereits ins zweite und dritte Lehrjahr.
Gigathlon 2007
Chur, 9. Juli 2007. Ergon war auch dieses Jahr wieder am Gigathlon dabei. Wir haben schwimmend, laufend, mit den Inlines und per Bike und Rennvelo die ersten beiden Tage von Basel nach Chur bewältig. Die grösste Herausforderung war dieses Mal wirklich das kalte Regenwetter. Aber ein echter Gigatleth lässt sich davon nicht beirren!
Taifun Solution of Ergon enhanced by Digital TV at Wasserwerke Zug AG
Zurich, June 27, 2007. Ergon Informatik AG extended its own Taifun solution for service fulfilment and billing by digital TV at WWZ. In 2005 Ergon won the request for proposal for triple-play provisioning of WWZ with its product Taifun. Initially the two services telephony and internet were implemented. In the second release the system was extended by digital TV services. Ergon is manufacturer and integrator of its comprehensive Triple-Play CRM & Billing solution Taifun.

Ergon with successful business year 2006
Zurich, May 14, 2007. Ergon Informatik AG closed the business year 2006 very successfully. While the Swiss market for IT services grew by 5%, Ergon was able to increase its sales by 40 percent to 16,7 million francs. The profit margin is 11% with an net profit after tax of 1.88 million francs. In addition 12 new posts were created in 2006.
